Probing The Probe
OK I am having problems with this probe I bought. I bought it knowing it needed work, so this is no surprise to me
I have replaced:
Distributor cap/rotor
Fuel Filter
Spark plug wires
o2 sensor
and Belts.
What it has that doesn't belong there is an after market intake, which I need to replace to stock box and tube.
She ran it with that intake on there for a long time. Now what it is doing is:
Starts then shuts off, starts then shut off, starts and then stays running.
That happen in that order twice so far.
While idling it will stay running just fine. I can rev it just fine from .75RPM to 2k RPM without any problems.
After 2k and upto 4k if I hold it at a certain rpm it will lop out and then pick back up.
After 4k and above it will lop out and shut off.
I can sit there and rev it none stop without holding it at any certain RPM and it will not cut out.
If I drive it it will continue to cut off, but I am able to start it right back up, no probs!
What could be causing this to my car?
