I found a ALTERNATOR out of A 92 probe GL 2.2L on ebay and he told me it would not fit my 89 probe LX 2.2L is this true. There the same motor and car and it seems odd but i could be mess led. If you now anything about this please answer cuz my ALTERNATOR went out last week and Im need one bad.:hy:

Did you tell this person you had a 89 LX or a LX with a 2.2L ? Because most people think when one says they have a Probe LX that it's the 90-92 3.0L

ya i told him what had to the T to make sure. I think he is feeding me a bunch of crap. should i go ahead and get it it's only $42 and thats cheapest i can find so far. thanks

That's up to you. If it works, great. If it doesn't your out $42.00. If both are just the 2.2L non turbo it should work. I have no idea if the 2.2L non-turbo and 2.2L turbo uses the same alternator.

thanks for your in put man. so what kind upgrades do got to your car I'm love probes any modle. i love the turbo cuz how fast they are and all the other ones are too. you check my car out if you havent already it's at this web site http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2439258. the car i thank i'm getting a turbo motor in it soon or a 3.0L modded. I blew my rear sel out racing a dodge neon R/T in town going about 80 Mph. i found this out when put it on ramps taking the alt. out. thanks for your in put. tell me what you thank about my custom tailights too. get back.
