Exclamation Unbelievably terrible gas milage.... Someone Help

Hi, i have a ford probe 1992 lx, V6 3.0. I have had this car for about 4 months. Ever since i got it it has had bad gas milage. As far as tune ups i have replaced the whole air intake with a cone air intake, replaced spark plugs, cleaned fuel injectors, replaced coolant sensor and the mechanic also sprayed this cleaning thing in to the carburator to clean the engine out, cap, rotor, and spark plug wires, fuel filter, pcv valve and even replaced the Catalytic converter. The car runs great works fine its just that i get terrible gas milage. I use the 89 grade gas all the time which is liek the mid-grade. I have 116,000 miles on the car. I tried using adatives with the gas nothing... I dont know what to do with this car any more now the gas milage is even worse for some reason. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. With a full thank of gas i mean filled till the pump stops i can drive 220 miles the most and recently not even close to 200. I love the car i just don't know what to do with the gas milage its like the engine is a v10 instead of a v6 even a v10 wouldn't have that bad of gas milage.

The oxygen sensor can cause this to happen even if it's not causing the check engine light to go off. have your fuel pressure regulator checked. check your exhaust system past the cat and insure that there are no restrictions. Timing and timing advance can cause these problems but you will have to have a computer to check it. Be sure to check for vaccum leaks. Computer problems can also cause it. Most of these will affect the way it runs but may not.

The first step is to have your O2 sensors checked/replaced as that is the first place to investigate on the modern engine, for poor fuel economy. O2s don't last forever. The other thing to consider is that its not good for your cats if the car is running too rich as it reduces its component life. :(

This info might help you make a good business decision.
