Im curious if anyone started with a base model and upgraded to an SE? I have, and would like to compare/contrast stories.

The difference are a few things:

1. the SE has a gt bumper
2. SE's have ground effects
3. arm rest/cup holder
4. and some have newer lights

i went from a Base to an SE. i just upgraded the bumper and the rims to the se model. And then repainted it from pink to blue now my car kicks ass. Ohh and the cupholder thing is not true i had the cupholder when i first got the car

Did you buy the car used? Ive always been led to believe that the base models never had cup holders/arm rests. Did you add ground FX to your car too?

yeah i bought the car used. There looks like there might have been mods done to my car but the person before me took them out i think. But all i had was the Rims and The bumper to change. Maybe the Cupholder was added. Even though my Friends SE had no cup holder niether. Sorry for the long delay in the reply havent looked back here in a long time

Thats cool...I got my car used, but I know the previous owner did nothing to it in terms of Mods.
