Vris Check Valve Question
Glad I found this forum. I need a little help.
I've just finished removing and cleaning the intake manifold and replacing the valve cover gaskets on my '94 GT. There is a check valve connected to the VRIS chambers attached to the underside of the intake manif. The check valve is visible on the passenger's side of the manifold under the runner and adjacent to the #1 spark plug wire. The check valve is a white and green plastic cylindrical shaped thing that is in the middle of the vaccum line from the manif. to the VRIS vacuum chambers bolted to the underside of the manifold.
There is a flow arrow stamped on the side of the check valve but you probably will not be able to see it.
Could someone please take a look under your hood on a GT six and tell me which way the green (or other colored) plastic side is oriented? Is it facing toward the front of the car or toward the rear? I need to know this in order to know which way the flow is supposed to go: toward the VRIS vac. chambers or toward the manifold?
Thanks
