What does set apart the GT from other Probes?

So your Probe folks, how is the GT diff from all the other probes?? Other then exter styling, what IS IT?

They're fast, duh!

J/K, but that is one thing. The turbo on the 2.2 is pretty quick. And they're easy to mod! But with the higher compression of the GL, I can't wait to turbo mine, mwahahhhhhhhh:) Not any time soon though...

White '91 PGL ATX someday i'll convert to MTX, really:)

89-92 GT = Turbocharged 2.2L I4
89-92 GL = non-turbo 2.2L I4
89LX = non-turbo 2.2l I4
90-92 LX = 3.0L V6

93-97 GT/GTS = 2.5L V6
93-97 All others = non-turbo 2.0L I4

Mods: HKS intake filter, Trust 3" catback exhust, Guted cat., Halo-sparkplugs, Accer ignition coil, Boost gauge, Air-Fuel meter, Cear tail lights, 12 PSI of Boost :bcool:

Also 4 wheel disk brakes.

The GT version of the Probe/MX6 is alot more durable then the LX/DX models. The tranny and motor internals are stronger. Plus have oil coolers and you can extract alot of HP from them for very low $$$. While adding more power to another car would be very expensive. Dude to rebuilds and strengthenings of the drive line.
