ok I have a set of white guages that I got from my cousin. Does anyone have any idea of how to get the clear plastic cover off of the guage cluster once the cluster is out of the vehicle???? I would put them on, but i dont know how to get that plasic off without screwing something up bad.... any help appreciated...

take a good blow dryer and heat it up around the edges and apply pressure gently from the inside. it works, believe me, i have tried. but then again, why would you need to take the the plastic cover off? that whole big plastic cover/faceplate comes off anyways, and then the gauges are exposed to where you can work on them.

i think it is just held together by like 4 screws. it comes off easily. never mind my first post. in the first half i was just talking about the clear plastic on the faceplate. which i painted my faceplate.

That is what I need to get to is the faceplate....The white guages are just stickers that go over the faceplate. I

There are like 4 screws on the back of the whole assembly. They allow the gauges to be separated from the cover. It's hard for me to explain, I would take a pic, but don't have my digital camera right now.
It's not that hard, just study the back of the assembly. You can even take out individual gauges once the cover is removed:)

that's what i mean. by faceplate, i mean the grey cover around the gauges as well as the clear plastic piece in front of that.

Anyway, I looked at it and it's like 6 screws that go around the whole assembly. Let us know how it goes...

Where did these white face gauges come from are they custom or did you buy them from somewhere? I can never find them at a reasonable price.
