I checked out www.probetalk.com tonight. I have stiff competition from that site?? What would you guys like to see added to this section that would make this more attractive???

How about getting us some stars? :) j/k We have stars under our usernames on PT, the more active you are (or the longer you have been active on the site) the more stars you have. It goes by the number of posts.

No seriously, now that you asked, Ill think about it. I think we got what we need for now. We have to recruit more members to expand further...

The only thing I can think of right now is maybe later on when we get more traffic over here, we could use a Racing/Suspension forum. Lot of Probe owners autocross/race their Probes and there's a never ending discussion over the best suspension components...
And besides I dont know if suspension belongs to performance or appearance...
But Im way ahead of time here, theres no need for such a forum just yet...

Another tiny thing, the Probe Member Rides would be better maybe if we called it Probe Picture Forum/Post or something like that. That way we could post not just our Probes but other probes and parts, etc... But thats only a name...

Uh-oh, I smell a fight coming on. :)
Well, As small a group as we are the Alabama Probe Owners Club has it's own little forum at Probetalk. There are plenty of people there selling parts back and forth and not trying to gouge fellow enthusiasts. Maybe it has gotten a little too big. Maybe.
I'll have to cruise this board a lot more before I can give any more thoughtful suggestions.

I wouldn't worry about probetalk. There is no reason to try to "compete" with them. People have tried to do that and failed. Your board has some really good reasons that make it attractive. It is smaller, and calm. Which I like. The crowd here is somewhat different then the usual probetalkers. One thing I would reccommend for you is to keep some ofthe moderators different then Probetalk ones. It keeps things fresher. I really like this place and I have already spent all day on this board.
