You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.
I've seen that one before on LS1.com. It certainly is a mad, mad car. And it looks like a normal Vette too.
I wonder what it would be like to drive. Especially seeing the faces of some of those ricers as they get the tarmac literally torn up and thrown in their faces...

Chip & muffler my a@$.....it's got twin turbos, and the whole works....and he feels good about beating stock Mustangs!! Maybe try take on a Mustang with the same mods to be a bit fairer??
Im sure if we were given that same amount of cash used to make that car that fast could be used on better things. Lets face it a stock motorbike (say a Yamaha R1 or Fireblade) would easy out-accellerate it. As for building a car to do the same it would be easy (given the right money a suitable equipped Mustang would be the same) assuming the handling also matched the horsepower which it would'nt. So its a moot point. The only cars with 1000hp+ Hp that handle are F1 cars!

Actualy mate, a Skyline will handle great with 1000+hp. besides F1 cars have around 800-900hp, I dont think any team has upto or over 1000hp yet.

I dont think so! What does an R1 run down the 1/4? Around 9sec? and tops out at 300kmh?
To run 9s in a Corvette it takes around 800-900Hp, so this thing if it could get traction would be into the 7s plus it would top out at well over 400Kmh depending on the final gear ratio (a Callaway TT Corvette Sledgehammer back in the late 80s got to 415Kmh with around 1000Hp)
Regardless, comparing bike to car is like comparing apples to sardines.:btonge:

I wouldn't think so in the current era, but in the turbo era 1000hp+ engines were the norm....
Very true, Honda built an 1100hp F1 engine out of a 1.5L V6 turbo and was ready to race but FIA banned turbo charged engines.
Gotta say I love this Vette, it actually still has the factory look thats my kind of car. I'm not a fan of cars that have massive hp's but have stripped out interiors, parachutes, wires everywhere.
Think this car deserves seeeya Plates.
So far i've seen a 600hp Skyline thats nicely done.
