Heheh well it can be a pain at times, but it certainly helped out this morning when we got hit by what started out as 5, then grew to 9 spammers who came here to try and cause problems, as it is I cleaned out 40 or so posts all over the place i would hate to see what it could have been if the post rate limit was much lower :crazy1: :oo1:

Doesn't bother me cos I don't post that much, however it will hamper us severely come the next post war. I'm presuming it will be deactivated for the event?

If you can afford it get cable. It's great stuff I would imagine forums like this would be quite frustrating without it.

Never happened to me but I think if you make a post you have to wait 2 minutes before you can make another one. I gather from DK's post that spammers tried to flood the forum.

I've got dial-up and it's not that bad for general surfing. Downloads are the killer. But I agree, cable is the way to go.
