Heheh well it can be a pain at times, but it certainly helped out this morning when we got hit by what started out as 5, then grew to 9 spammers who came here to try and cause problems, as it is I cleaned out 40 or so posts all over the place i would hate to see what it could have been if the post rate limit was much lower :crazy1: :oo1:

Doesn't bother me cos I don't post that much, however it will hamper us severely come the next post war. I'm presuming it will be deactivated for the event?

Never happened to me but I think if you make a post you have to wait 2 minutes before you can make another one. I gather from DK's post that spammers tried to flood the forum.

I've got dial-up and it's not that bad for general surfing. Downloads are the killer. But I agree, cable is the way to go.
