14.01 second 1/4 pass in a Dev5 ute

Well, as many of you know, Brendan Mock ran a 14.01 second pass on Friday night at Calder. So heres the timeslip to show it and a video will be on its way shortly!

yeah i saw that thing run. A big hello to brendan as appartently I was standing next to you the whole night...lol

That ute had some serious take off though, no other ford was getting anywhere near the same amount of traction. Except for you casper, not far behind :)

Yeah, I was getting great traction, and only a few seconds slower too!!!!

Ok thats pretty much settled it for me! I was thinking about using a form of forced induction and Brendan recommended that i just go NA, with a DEV 5A setup. I think i will definately be following that path. Now i just have to get some cash saved up. Hmm hey JMM, do you guys have payment plans :)

The terminal speed of 99mph indicates a 13.1 ET under perfect conditions.
The 60' time is actually pretty lousy considering that mph, so with slicks and a better launch, that should easily be capable of a low 13.

Awsome stuff, now I just have to get mine there, slicks here we come.
