The 1st test is starting tonight and "surprise surprise" they present a pitch that's been doctored big time!!! Pfftt. Bloody pitch doctoring, ball tampering cheating scumbags. Hope Gilly and the boys give them heaps!!!

ah, the cricket. aus vs india match i saw at the gabba was full of memorable moments; wave did 7 full laps of the stadium, and everytime it got to the members stand none of them stood up adn everyone boo'ed, then the guys just after the members stand would always leap up and there'd be cheers all round, and when a beachball went down on the field between overs and gilly ran over and threw it back up into the crowd, which was followed by much cheering, then later one went near and indian guy and he gave it to a security guy who deflated it, and there was much booing, lol. good times. wasnt there some big stuff up with the ABC telecast on the radio because apparently it isnt india's (the actual country's) team; it actually belongs to a sponsor or something? cant quite remember but it was something along those lines
Hehe, I remember going to last years ING cup final. When the head secca confiscated all the beach balls going round a big "YOU ARE A W&NKER!" chant would come up. Priceless.

Brilliant start by the aussies, stumps on day 1 had us at 5/316. Brilliant 81 by Katich with the pressure of batting in his injured Captain's spot, and brilliant work by Clarke to be 70odd not out...on debut. Even though I wouldn't have selected him, he has shown so far that he can handle it. He is brilliant against spin and I assume that is where he has scored most of his runs.
Still a long way to go in the test though, but a solid start which we need to consolidate on rather than crumple in the tail.
Don't get me started on that pitch either...bloody terrible looking piece of dirt.

Nothing really suprising about India and their pitch tampering antics (any ball tampering this time)? I hope the Aussies give them such a flogging in return. GO AUSTRALIA...

Gees some of you guys have a huge chip on your shoulders! - Saw the pitch of TV and yes it is pure bullsh*t, and yup it is purposly made this way to favour the spinners. The ground is in horrific state and yes it will effect the game majorly. And for this I'm ashamed on their behalf.
Having said that, India will be batting last on that pitch, great news for Aussie. Great start for Aus but it's fairly evenly poised.
