I heard this at school from a mate so it's probably not true..

Does anyone here know of, or heard about a new rule that enables 17 year olds in Victoria to go and take the P plater test 2 weeks before their birthday, and if they pass, they can go and pick up their License on their b'day?

Does anyone here work for Vicroads and can confirm this?

It's probably just a stupid rumour started by someone at school, but you never know..

Ring up Vicroads, but I do beleive that this maybe correct as i have heard it before!

I've heard of it too, I know for sure that if for some reason they allow you to do the test early you get your licence on your 18th

You can apply for a proof of age card a couple of weeks (maybe a month?) before you turn 18...

Same deal with licences i assume... i hadn't heard of it however...
