Holden have predicited they'd lose some 40% of their sales if they went FWD - I'd bet that Falcon would be the same ...

Right now I would be happy if they lost 10% of their sales

40% conservative, more like 60%..

look at the magna. Nice car, nice engine, nice styling (well better than a camry and better than a au forte), if it was rwd I would proberly buy one, and it would be good enough to give Ford and Holden quite a scare. Powerful, reasonably refined, economical.

FWD Ford and Holdens? Outclassed in that market by about a billion other cars.

To make it in australia you need a large rwd platform, and two engines, a economical yet big cube 6, and a powerhouse 8.

Any messing with this formula will result in less sales. As great as the WRX was the impressa isn't exactly blowing ford and Holden away.

I think I know how this poll will turn out FM.Hehe.Isn't GM USA heading back to rear wheel drive with the GM sigma platform. Ford DON"T even think about a front drive Falcon. For me it is AWD or rear wheel drive.

Can't have a front drive falcon ever. I'll be very very annoyed if they do go down that path.
