I plan to visit my dealer in the next couple months and take one for a drive. I don't plan to purchase, but at least I know what I'll be in for for either the Taurus SHO (none in stock for the next well, long time! in my area). Lincoln makes a good case, as it is a landyacht - with balls. Even Motor Trend gave it grand reviews in every category except fuel economy, where it achieved 13.7mpg. That's on par with my 5.9L V8 Durango but the Lincoln is a bit quicker.

I really like the look of the car, but I feel like I'm one of the few. The baleen whale gaping maw up front is a little weird, but dayum, the rest is so pretty, and that interior is jaw dropping.

As a driver, I spend more time behind the wheel than I would standing outside and starting at it, so exterior design doesn't really matter all that much to me. It's 'OK', but really, it's the interior that ultimately counts. Acura went the same way with the terrible exterior on their TL sedan. The problem, is that the TL's interior is just as terrible.
