How does a 275kw T- series sound or a 240kw Fairmont Ghia or Fairlane? Not to mention the 300kw+ GT.........

The Mighty XE

Sounds very promising! The only things I'd change are:

170kW (up from 160) 4.0-litre SOHC 6cyl Forte/Futura/wagon

200kW (up from 180) 4.0-litre SOHC 6cyl LP turbo Fairmont/Ghia/Fairlane/XR6

A 50kW difference between the two spec XR6's seems a bit much, bumping up the power to 200 would reduce the gap to 30.

RATT

The only thing that worries me is the base engines for the Fairmont Ghia/Fairlane/LTD. If it's the LP Turbo, it may scare away some buyers who may not like the idea (insurance etc). And then if it's the 160kw base engine, they may be underpowered considering their weight premium over the base models. What happened to the VCT?

kinda makes one laugh when you have the Pres trying to keep hype and expectation down to avoid disappointment when you have these media reports running wild. You would think if Ford were trying to be consistent that they would come out and say if these reports were too far off
