3AW interview with David Flint
Did anyone listen to 3AW this morning around 9:30am? I only got a parts of the interview, and as I was at work I couldn't listen for very long. It seemed very interesting, and some of the questions that were being raised by interviewer Niel Mitchell (I think it was) were almost like they came from Harold Scruby.
Infact I even remember Harolds name being mentioned once, as questions were being asked about why the need for such a powerful car like the Typhoon, and how fast it could accelerate to 100km - a question in which David Flint refused to comment about.
One more thing I remember is that when David was asked the top speed of the Typhoon, he replied 200-210km. Now I don't call david a liar, but let's just say I wasn't the only one questioning that statement. he justified it by saying that the 6 cylinder "runs out of puff" while the V8 had a little bit more left in it.
David if you are reading it would be great for you to shed a bit more light on the interview too. I, and I am sure many other forum members on here would like to hear from you again, especially on such a topic as this one, and how you plan to counter act the media and all those flaming bureaucrats.
