Hi guys, I posted this before in the General Tech forum but it didn't get many views. Here is a good website for you. It is all about a De Tomaso Pantera from Sweden with a 526ci Hemi, the bloke goes into a lot of detail about why he has done the modifications to his car and why they work. Some might be a bit hard to follow as English is not his native language but it is pretty good stuff.

Before the Hemi, the car had a 500ci alloy Ford big block and a 302 Boss... The performance from the Hemi is incredible: 0-60mph in 3.3sec, over 1g in braking and cornering, 0.88g acceleration from 80mph in 2nd gear. The engine has 870Nm (630lbft) of torque at 5300rpm!

What a machine! That is some nice power figures. Wouldn't want to come across speed humps in that beast, but then again, I think it's a track/show car only.

It's amazing how intelligent some people are. Nothing was left out in the whole process of fine-tuning a fire-breathing monster. He must have a shite load of moola too! Hired a race track to himself, mmmm!
