frown 6.8-litre Nations Cup Monaro

It is reported that the Monaro will have a 6.8-litre from American performance specialist Callaway, capable of over 400KW.
The new Monaros will also feature a 6-speed sequential gearbox, Harrop brakes, bigger wheels and tyres, carbon fibre panels as well as an aerodynamic package similar to a V8Supercar.
The Monaro is set to debut in the Nations Cup in April 2002.
I don't understand why they are allowed to race a 6.8 litre Monaro because it's not going into production.
I'm sorry i almost forgot, Holden runs the series so that's okay :fmad:
All we need now is for Ford to enter a few 7.0 litre Ts50's

That is a silly thing to say... they shouldn't be allowed to run it because it won't see production and it is because holden runs the series... it will be like the RA mustang, if it is to qualify to race it will need to be a limited production run of a certain number of cars, plain and simple.
Holden have to follow the rules just like everyone else, I believe it is bad form to blatantly suggest otherwise.

Nations Cup is different to the GT Production class ... The Monaro would be up against the Ferrari's, Lambo's, Vipers and Porsches ...

There was a S351 already running in Nations Cup - I don't think it was a PHR car tho ...

It will be a disaster if the mustang RA that's racing in the performance GT turns out to be 5.4L .in NATSOFT.com they say it's 5400cc,while in John Bowe website it's a 4.6L,so which one is true?
