As evidence suggests, whenever they trial a lower speed limit, they will always bring it in permanently.... what next? 5km/h zones, then 2, then 1.... at least it can't get much worse than that! - i dont think
Not a bad idea for the problem they face, I agree with the statement from the resident about it being very hard to actually drive at 10km/h (too slow) but so long as it is sensibly enforced I think it would work well.
Next thing you know, coppers will be hding near where your car is parked and they'll book you when you're idling at too high an rpm during cold start in the wee hours of the morning...even if you don't get caught at idle, you'll be stuffed when you shift inot gear and roll out of your lot coz it's an instant 8km/h.
