I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of an XR6 in acid rush on the tulla freeway today and the colour did not seem quite right. In the pics it looked funny and in the flesh it seems just as bad.
Obviously it was a pretty quick look, I was just wondering who else has seen acid rush in the flesh and what the general opinion is. It seems a lot like the current holden yellow IMO.
The shape and presence of that car were something else though, a big congrats go to the designers for an absolutly fantastic job. Good work guys
If you check out the shot of the XR8 in the intro brochure it is definately more of a Ferrari yellow than that shit yellow that we all hate. Looks really good.
My friend frantically called me today to tell me he was standing beside an Acid Rush XR6T. I was jealous, needless to say
He said that the car looked really really good, but he didnt know about the colour. And that it made the rear look not as nice as it does in the darker colours.
Personally I think that the goldy-yellow Acid Rush paint looks to old.
It was very popular 5 years ago and there were lots of companies that used it, Holden, VW, Daewoo....
I think that it would have been better if Ford made up a new colour all together liek a Orange or something?
I thought that Ford were releasing an orange? I am not fond of the Acid rush. Not that it will look bad, just don't liker the yellowy colours. I would be looking at darker colours like Narooma blue, phantom or balck.

I am still hoping for an orange down the line (maybe exclusive FPV colour?) so how about it Ford MrJuicy Orange (tm) or that Blood Orange of the R7 will do i guess otherwise
