New or used?
If used i would go for either the trusty Corrolla/Laser or Mazda 323, you cant go wrong with any of them 3, on the other hand i wouldnt touch an early model Astra or a Lancer at all.

They are the cars i have had in mind, the mazda 323's look nice.

BTW they are the same as the laser inside and out except for some minor details and badging, and they are alot cheaper aswell.

Yeah the cheaper part is why im looking at them.

I mean the Laser is cheaper, not the 323. This is because the laser is no longer sold, while the 323 is.
