Advice on small car under $15,000

Would love some advice on small car under $15,000 for the gf.

New or used?
If used i would go for either the trusty Corrolla/Laser or Mazda 323, you cant go wrong with any of them 3, on the other hand i wouldnt touch an early model Astra or a Lancer at all.

I shiva at the thought of a brand new car for under 15K.

They are the cars i have had in mind, the mazda 323's look nice.

Yeah mate, i seriously couldnt Fault either the Toyota Corrolla / Laser / 323, they are great car. Ill get some prices and get back to you

BTW they are the same as the laser inside and out except for some minor details and badging, and they are alot cheaper aswell.

I mean the Laser is cheaper, not the 323. This is because the laser is no longer sold, while the 323 is.
