OK, as most of you know the Grand Final will be played at the MCG with Essendon Hosting Brisbane. My tip is bombers by 3 goals But i really hope Lions win. What do the rest of you think?

Hawthorn deserves to be in the Grand Final because they would've won it if it was'nt for those fu*cking stupid umpires that fu*ked it up for Hawthorn. :fmad:
I'm still a proud Hawthorn supporter even though we lost but we gave Essendon a pretty good scare which is good for a change.
Hopefully Brisbane can thrash the living daylights out of Essendon because Essendon play too dirty and are too arrogant to deserve a Premiership.

Bombers looked absolutely terrible yesterday and if they play like that next saturday the'll be goners. Hopefully Sheedy will give it to them all week and they'll shape up again to win another premiership!!

Yeah, I'm hoping that Brisbane emerge victorious in a tightly contested struggle, for 2 reasons.
1: I barack for Richmond who were destroyed by the Lions last night, so my thinking is if the win the big one I can at least say " oh well the tigers were beaten by the BEST side in the comp"

and 2: One of the blokes at work is a Essendon fan and I don't want to see him gloating about the mighty Bombers

You're not wrong, the Hawks were stiff to have Essendon get 3 gimme free kicks in the first quarter which directly resulted in goals.
Unfortunatly, I cannot blame the umps for Richmonds poor showing against the Lions last night.:(

Rastus: Richmond honestly didn't play bad. Brisbane were just better. They seemed to have every position covered esp thier backline which shut down brad ottens and richradson. I was at that game satuerday afternoon and all I can say is Essendon didnt play near thier real potential. I hate Essendon and I hope they lose. Carn BRISBANE!

Brisbane is the form side, and it will be a big ask for Essendon to beat em on the big day. I just hope it aint a blow out like many of the other Grand Finals have been in recent history. The best GF I think I've ever seen was the 89 clash between Hawthorn and Geelong. What a MATCH! One of the best for sure. (Except the CATS lost) :-(
