I typical style Hsv claim sour grapes and point to the sales of 2500 HSVs to ford 100 or so sales of Tickford cars.

I have not seen the article, but did David have any critisism of the new VW concept coupe? or the new Bugatti W16? Both of which have much greater power outputs than any local car ever produced ...

Basically I think David claimed the 350kw concept was scary.

And no no mention was made of the dedicated performance models you talk of. David was offered the chance to comment further but declined except to repeat his point of view

I do not see what the issue is with a concept car ... didn't Ford have a 350kw Falcon show car on it's stand last year?

Yeah I don't know what the story is but I don't think it is the power rating but more to do with the type of concept the power figure was shown in.

I think you are talking about the 300+ coupe? It was only rated about 310fwkw.
