Well lately I have been shaking my head in disbelief...I don’t really care when the chicks in her red laser or black Hyundai hammers over speed humps (although if they could slow down a little so I could get a second glance it would be better...lol).
But when people in there new, or old for that matter, XR8's and 6's absolutely fly over speeds I get a bit angry. Do these people have no consideration for there car??!
This is at Deakin Uni by the way, and I think the majority of the offenders are staff with company cars, but still!
I have to crawl over them at a max speed of 10kph, these people would be doing 60-70 easy. Can new cars handle this? I know it shouldn't bother them but still, a little restraint would be nice.
So what do you do? Crawl over them and sometimes have to do the 1-2-Shuffle (tm), or do you not worry and go it kamikaze style?

if its a smaller sized speed hump i go streight over it very slowly, but if its a large type i have to go sideways very very slowly over it. I have a huge dent in my middle muffler from a speed hump catching it. Also i never bake while going over the speed hump as that puts even more wear on your suspension.
i know what you meen about deakin, theres some crazy people there, and speed humps every 10 metres

Yeah, I think it was a no seatbelt incident. But still.. why go 80 over a bump? If I'm not mistaken, the person who died was doing it as a bet with some mates. Happened maybe 11 - 12 years ago.
Yep, I take my time over the speed humps. Monash Uni has some shockers, come to think of it there's a couple at Knox City I need to inch over and my car isn't even that low!!
