What's the matter with all new car companies? All new cars look the same. You have to be 2 feet away to read the badges on new cars just to know what they are. Acura's, Mazda's, etc look all the same! What happened to the good ol'days when you could tell a make of a car from a mile away? Give me an old 60's Cougar, Fairlane, Galaxie, etc any day over anything new. I'll never buy anything new till automakers bring back UNIQUENESS. Ford Focus? Yuk! Contour? Yuk. 90's Probe? Yuk. The Mustang is the only decent new American car that actually has its own unique identity. It LOOKS good, and performs. Well, I suppose the Pontiac Aztek is pretty unique, but someone must've been smoking something to allow it to actually be released onto the car market. I believe auto designers today are simply outta touch with what society desires. Please Ford.... bring back the old car "names" (like Galaxie, Fairlane, etc) only if the "uniqueness" goes along with it..........Thx! PS. the new ThunderBird is AWESOME....my hat goes off to those designers!!

contour yuk?probe yuk?i cant speak 4 the focus.but i think both the tour and the probe are very attractive cars.

I don't like a lot of new cars either, but both the probe and countour looked real good and unique, in my opinon at least. Especially in their last years, I really liked the headlights on the countour. I don't like the newest mustangs as much though, but I've liked all the other ones I've seen no matter what years. I agree thought about the backs of cars, every single damn thing out there looks the same. But I think thats the point, as long as all the other cars in the segment are conservative they should make theirs conservative too so they don't lose any sales over the way a car looks.

This is a man who is after my heart. Bring back the style and power from the 60's. When you could hear an engine from a mile away and knew what it was. They sound like golf carts now. And they all do look the same. I like the new 49's from the auto show and hope they go into production. I also have one word for the designers at ford. FINS! They add so much style, they are practically breathtaking. Anyways, I'm rambling. Go classics, switch back and get the crazy imports out of the US.

UMMMMM, the 65-67 Galaxies and Fairlanes look alot like each other. As a matter of fact most mid-60's sedans look simular, remember the headlights ? Two on each side with one on top of the other.
