Anyone seen the latest AMC mag? Got a great article on the Bill Bourke special including an interview with him. Apparantly the build plate does not have the fabled "R" code on it! My favourite quotes from the article include

"This thing feels like a supercharged 351"
"all these time wasters in their rice burners and all that high tech shit mate forget it, by the time their turbos booost up its game over"

and the best one from Bill himself....
"These guys with me in the car boy they were wide eyed, they were frightened because we got up to about 140mph
and they were thinking "this'll be big news you know Bill Bourke and three motoring writers killed on Hume Highway"!

pretty good actually.. An article on the making of the new FPV commercial. A bit on old "funny" drag cars and the XB superbird coupe of Bruce Maxwell. I notice too the mag seems to be getting thicker its over 100 pages now.
