I bought the 2nd issue for the interview with GP which was very informative.
As the thing was sitting in the reading room I picked it up this arvo and read the whole thing and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is well balanced, covered a broad spectrum of interests and didn't preach as much as the mainstream mags I usually read.
It deserves to do well in the tough Aussie magazine market where titles come and go faster than Max Wilsons reputation. I, for one, will be subscribing in the hope that it will continue to survive and maintain it's editorial integrity.
Yeah it is a real good mag so far I hope they can keep it up as I feel Street Machine has slipped of late leaving only Performance Ford as a good read & so far its distribution as been slightly sporatic
I have read both issues of AMC and so far have found them great reading. Lots of good articles on the old cars with good information on new suff. Top Stuff fellas!

I like the articles in AMC but they aren't up to the same quality of Street Machine, although I too agree that in the last few months, Street Machine has slipped. Mid 2001 was good for Street Machine. These days there might be 1 or 2 articles on Fords, and the rest is Holden One Tonner trash.
I agree guys, AMC is a great read. I couldn't believe there was another and another and another page of the interview with Geoff Polites. That was great!
I enjoyed the interview with the GM execs as well. AMC kept asking the hard questions until they got some sort of answer, which is also great.
I hope enough people keep buying it so the mag continues.
For those who have read both, how does issue one compare with issue two?
