As you may have noticed, I have been unable to be present online as much in recent times. Unfortunately this inactivity is likely to continue indefinitely, which is why I have decided it is best that I resign as Acting President, effective immediately. I may or may not re-apply as a candidate for the position when we are registered and ready to formally vote senior members in. For now, though, my logical successor is Sundeep, leaving Thanatos (Dave) as Acting Vice President. Until now, both Sundeep and Dave had shared this position.

I also intend to resign as an E-series forum moderator for the same reason, which means this position will be available.

In recent months, my time as Acting President has been something of a vicious circle. I have at times spent too much time online and certain Club/forum issues have become too personal, resulting in some regrettable mishaps of poor judgement. Presently I am focusing on my work as I should be, but in the process I have been neglecting my duties to the Club. I feel that appointing a superior replacement like Sundeep is the best thing to do for all concerned.

Obviously I'll still be around to help where I can, and I will be completing the handheld CB radio transaction for Victorian members as my final Presidential duty.

It seems quite timely, though. Just when I am no longer able to commit enough time to be a worthy President, the tiny web page I once made called ford.i8.com has now flourished to a point where its every operation has a dedicated member in charge; these days it will do just fine with me as just another member in the background. :s5

Sorry to hear you're resigning, Jack, you've been a great service to the club, and made it what it has become today.

sorry to hear of the resignation, you have been an asset to the club, and like you said about the i8 days, if it wasnt for you then the club wouldnt exist

im sure sunny will do a remarkable job as president.

Sorry to see you go Jack. Even without 'presidency' I think its fair to say the level of respect will stay the same toward you. I dare not put a number of hours of work you have put in to the club!

Sorry to hear this jack. You've been so important in the running of this club, i'm very sad to see you go. Hope you move onto bigger and better things , and good luck with your new endeavours!

In all the years ive been interested in Cars, i watched the EA falcon club gro to the EA-to ED and onto E series along with our joininf of Fordforums. Thru thick and thin Jack has always been there and has held the club true. Even with some of the latest and more personal situations, Jack has remained true and has always stayed focused on the godo of the club. It is with this that i Think we all own him our greatest of thanks and wish him well for the future. I hope that he can remain just as informative and helpful as ever, even in retirment.

This was unexpected for me to say the least! But we all grow and need to move on to bigger and better things, and we all wish you the very best in whatever you choose to do. You've been the heart of this club, you created it, you guided it and it's something special. I hold you in the highest regard and respect, and thank you for creating something that has taught us all something, and allowed us to make many great friends.

Jack, i havnt been here all that long but it still makes me sad to see you go. I know (and apprecieate) how much effort and time you've put into the club and i am very much in debit to you for creating it, because it has given me somewhere to share my love of eseries cars with other enthusiasts.

You will me sadly missed.

I hope that when the club becomes official you go for acting president, because i will vote for you.

Im glad you did pick someone as compitent as sundeep because i know he will do a great job...as you have!
