Im starting to get annoyed how holden people always dis us cause we drive fords. Automatically I become a wanker cause i drive a FORD.
Met a bloke the other day and we had a good chat. He's into holdens and i'm into fords, no hard feelings at all.
Met a guy on the internet who says im a wanker cause of my irc nick, and i drive a falcon.
Another thing that annoyed me is THIS LINK, you need to scroll down a bit and read the section entitled FORD FORUMS. I don't think there talking about this site, but the other side of the discussion forums hosted on that site. I posted a reply and i hope you guys feel free to.
I don't mean to cause any crap at all between the two of us, cause just as I love my Fords i also respect holdens. I think that HSV's are very nice cars. Maybe not as nice as a TE50 but still nice!!!
If you want to talk about cars, you'll quickly learn who the people are you can actually talk to about them & those who don't have a clue. Just ignore those who have no clue. You will lead a better life for doing so...
Actually vpv8calais, from what it says in your signature, it sounds like you have a very nice car on your hands.
As long as a car looks good, I really don't care what brand it is.
I used to be an one-eyed Holden fan, when I first came to
Australia (3 years ago). Because most people I met said that
Holden was the sh!t and Ford just simply sucked.
I believed that theorie until my old man got a job at Adrien Brien Ford
here in Adelaide and started bringing home all sorts of Holdens & Fords.
Having driven most recent models from both makes, I can say I made a fair choice of wich make "I" think is better.
I only pay out Holden drivers if they start paying me out first, as a defence.
It's funny how most Holden drivers I've debated with know very
little about Fords & most Ford drivers know quite a bit about Holdens.
I honestly do think most people who drive NICE fords know a fair bit about cars, but more than some of the guys (well around where I live anyway) drive nice holdens cause their mates do, and don't necessarily know anything about cars.
Went to a party a while ago.........got their fairly early and were only 10 cars on the front lawn, and 8 of them were white VP-VS V8 (ex-police i think) Commodores. Was a very funny "following like sheep moment".
I just have respect for anyone who actually takes pride in their car. I don't care what brand it is, it's just a pleasure, and a rarity, to see a well looked after and maintained vehicle, particularly the older cars. There are just so many shit boxes out there it's not funny.
Foxtrot Oscar Romeo Delta X-ray Foxtrot
might be their cars dont have as many problems as ours, therefore they dont have as many questions to ask on how to fix them???......................just a point, still rather my hq !***
I'm suprised this bloke didn't cop any sh!t, sounds to me he has some brains!
As for posting my own replys one that site, I wouldn't lower myself. The one thing that I love about this forum is how friendly and helpfull people are whether they drive a Ford or Holden. Also thanks to the moderators, the ones that aren't get sorted out pretty quick.
