Traded in my old KE Laser today on a brand new XR4 KQ Laser Hatch.
Never heard of an XR4? neither had I until this morning.
Actually the name is misleading as it's not a Tickford tricked car. The dealer took a base LXi, threw on power windows, power sun roof, rear spoiler, AUII XR8 look-a-like mags and XR4 stickers. I ordered dark window tint to go with the dark Atlantic blue paint.
I pick it up in two weeks, so once it's home I'll post some pics.

Hmmm wasn't the XR4 a model on a Ford Sierra in the U.K. In fact i got a matchbox car of one.
Sounds like a nice car Jamie. Is it a manual?

The trouble is, the clutch is so light compared to the XR6 that it seems non existant!
yeah i know what you mean it's feather light, almost put the pedal through the floor and it's hard to find friction point of clutch.

That problem is easily fixed.
Go to your local hardware shop, buy a heavy spring, fit it to the clutch pedal.
See, too easy. Hehehehe
After driving 4WD's at work, came home and drove my daughters little rice burner. Same problem, nearly drove my foot through the floor board. OK after a couple of gear-changes, but feels strange just the same.
No problem in my XR8. Slushbox. (makes it easy for us oldies. Hehe)
nice work mate... you are treading water though on the rice boarder!! lol
