Hey peoples
After reading the site and getting pointers from members posts here I decided to get off my lazy backside and become a member.
I bought my 02 XR8 ute a few months ago to drag my dirtbike around in, after struggling for 2 years in a Subaru Sportswagon... 110km speedlimit with me grinding along at 80k's in third finally wore too thin so an uprgade was in order.
Enter carsales.com.au .. Found this girl and it was only 50km up the road



After a quick test drive and a little haggling, it was mine for 26k.
Mods to date are:
Premium sound
SS Induction and K&N filter
Redcliffe Dyno programmable ECU
Pacemaker Extractors
Twin 2 1/2" system with Custom Shotgun back end. The pipes are getting replaced by a tamer set very soon (only picked the car up yesterday) because they are much lower than I expected and alot larger than I expected.. as seen below



Dyno report will be added once the new pipes are on.

The pipes are getting changed Thursday, along with an ECU upgrade program..
Steve had it sent to him via email but his anti-virus blocked it the arvo I had to pick it up, so the standard Computer dropped the rev limiter to just over 4000 rpm. At that stage it read 245 rwhp, he thinks theres another 15-20 hp left in it.
Not too shabby.

Oh and falkeen's ute looks sweet as, he's into it thats for sure :)
