Is there anyone here that collects coins and knows what they are roughly worth?

I have a 1917 Australian 6 pence coin and am wondering if it's worth anything?

I dont mind coin's I have a vast collection of coin's unfortunately I dont have any that demand a high price tag,I'm still looking for a 1933 half penny in good nick, it's woth $250,000,I have a 1930 one though,I have a book that list's all the Aussie coin's and their prices I will have a look when I find it for you.

Just checked and it depend's on the condition of the coin,I take it it has George V on one side and the Emu and Kangaroo on the other,but I'll start at the lower end of the market, a coin that has heavy wearing is not worth much but one that is good or very good ie, well worn though design and main feature's are reasonably clear are worth between $10-$100 and they just go up from there to a coin that is classed a "gem" in other word's look's like it was made today, no imperfection's is worth $3,750, just remember these price's are only what there worth to a buyer,it's finding a buyer that's willing to pay the amount of the coin.cheer's.

No worries mate just keep an eye out for that 1930 Penny,Sorry I think above I said 1933 but it's actually 1930, there are only 6 known in existance and they are worth $250,000 each as a gem coin,
must go digging this weekend,hey.

It's not actually a Penny Phat XD the Penny's didnt start untill 1911 so I say you have what they call "Imperial Soverigns" or just Australian gold coinage,
does it have a "S". "M" or "P" on it, but roughly there all the same but the one with "M" on it and in a gem coin is worth about $35,000, in good condition or very good it is worth about $165,cheer's.

XD 351 Ute

I coolect a few coins, but nothing much of value.
Mostly just the fancy Australian ones that come out.
It's usually a race between me and my Mum to see who gets the newies first.
Sorry, I can't help you much with the shillings and stuff.
