Anyone have good pics/info on EA 351 Falcon prototype
I'm looking for good pics and info on Ford's EA 351 Falcon prototype. If appreciate it if anyone can post or email some decent pics of the engine bay in particular.
Also does anyone know of any good printed material on it? I have the April '91 Motor issue with a story on it but other stuff would be great.
Finally, I was planning to visit the Ford Discovery Centre shortly and wanted to get a good look at it's engine. Is this possible or is it roped off?
I haven't got any pics of the engine bay, and don't know of any books it has featured in. The car is surrounded by a barrier at the Discovery Centre but I might be able to open the bonnet for you if you are really, really nice to me.
That's assuming you come in on a day I am working.
Yeah i only have the article form the wheels mag. They should have release it then. The reason is that they say the deck of the block is too high for the E-Series and the A -Series Falcons. But on the opposing they did manage to fit one in making around 240kw from memory.

I have just spoken to our Operations Manager and he has given the red light to the bonnet being opened. Apparently there are some 'issues' relating to this. :(
I should have some pics of it on display, email me and I will chase it up for you.

Heh, they don't want to give any young hoons any help with how it was made.
That or it's a fraud
That or I'm completely wide of the mark and there is something else (like the bonnet being welded shut? j/k) :wink2:
I have a pic of the motor, I think if I can find it the car was blue on the outside but the engine bay is still red, does anyone know if this is right.
