While XR & GT are going to be the cult & hero models of the range (rightly so), it's the base model XT that is going to be the mainstream volume seller - and hopefully sell in big quantities to make Barra succesful.

So how 'bout it GP - when do we get to see some pics of the car that everyone can afford? This base model that we're all supposed to aspire to.

The interior shots look sweet, but I want to see what it looks like on the outside before I make a final decision on updating to BA.

Yes, good point. I would say it will look like the Futura with Ghia style headlights.

That's right RATT, had a good look at one the other day.

It basically looks exactly the same as a Futura, except with Ghia lights (and different wheels, obviously). Really looks the goods.

And I'd imagine the Fairmont would look exactly the same as a Ghia, except with Futura headlights.

i wonder if there will be an S pack or SR, XR headlights with a mild body kit, just a std falcon with a few extras like TC and LSD, Sports steering wheel and Gear shift.

I believe there should be an S or SR type car in the lineup... although they are marketing the XT as having a sporting flavour, I suppose you could option it with a spoiler and alloys etc. and have an SR type vehicle...
