When I first read the Carpoint XR8 review I noticed the weight figures that were published were way off. He said that the BA XR8 weighed 260kg more than the AUIII XR8, I sent him an email regarding that figure (only 130kg) and now the review lists the correct weights!

On that note peoples, it suddenly makes the XR8 a decent thing. Comparing it to the AUIII the BA XR8 gains 40kw with a weight increase of 130kg.

On that note of weight i got the VY broshure yesterday (no i'm not going to buy one) to confirm the weight of the SS. I have to say it's damn light at around the 1600kg mark.

The reasoning behind the extra weight hasnt been mentioned in any article posted anywhere (that I've seen anyway)
