Driving through town the other day in Geelong and I saw this pop up in the intersection, has anyone else seen anything like this? Excuse the quality as it was through my fone, but if you zoom in it isn't too bad.

Looks like an AU wagon with the back chopped off and a custom tray built on it.

There was a VT Commodore wagon in Townsville with a similar mod.

I like the idea and have done plenty of what-if thinking along those lines myself.

Though to look right I think it needs an extended wheelbase and longer tray. At least on this one the tray sides have been lifted above the old window line. I reckon making the tailgate would be the trickiest part (wagons have lift-up tailgates).

I've seen one similar around Croydon. Very neat conversion - i just want one.

I've seen it a few times in the Highton Safeway carpark. Looks like a tidy conversion up close.
