Thumbs up

I did and liked it, even though its typical and predictible its still good fun and like you said the gadgets are sweet.

The one you would have to consider putting on your car is " the Invisibility thingy", he creeps up to buildings and no one can see him, some guy on a jet ski smacks into his car cuz he couldnt see it.
Was funny.

Im a big Bond fan, ive watched them all, many times over, and the latest ones just havent done it for me. I like all the gadgets, and the plot has always been interesting. James just hasnt got the class he used to, hes turned into a sleeze bag (he was before, but he did it casually, not cheesy like it is now)

I saw it yesterday, if you have seen XXX its like that, loud music, loud cars, loud technology, totally unbelievable...

Yep saw it on weekend. Liked it too. Prefer it to XXX - have always had no respect for Vin Diesel since The Farce & The Furice!

Some great driving scenes - oh-so-tasty drifting on the ice, and the exhaust notes of the Vanquish and Jag, oh my!

The Jag on the ice had a Ford V8 (don't know what sort) installed apparrantly.

Both the Jag and AM Vanquish had been modified to take the ford explorer 4wd system and a small block ford v8, round about the 5L mark off the top of my head, they simply could not drive like that on the ice without it. The downsize in engine size was to allow the installation of all the gadgets that these cars have in the movie.

New bond was good, it errs more on the opposite side to reality than some of the others and I feel a bit ripped off about the amount of CGI (computer graphics) scenes in the movie.

Good to see the car chase as the REAL climax. Ford have done well spending the money they did to get their cars into this movie instead of BMWs with the Jag, Vanquish and Thunderbird present. Pity no falcon

Talking about jags.. heres the Jaguar X-type Concept car :)

I love it appart from the flared guards.. they look too bodgy, as if they just stuck them over the original body..
At least make them curve out from the body and give it a bit more smoothness.. Heck even the bolt on style of the SLR5000's flows better.. hehe
