I've always wondered why Ford don't have the kind of ads the Pontiac GTO get (posted on LS1.com.au forums sometimes). But they've taken a step in the right direction, no stupid german engineer, no pathetic "you'd be popular too" gimmick. Its just, this is what we've got and some shots of the car.

The only problem is the ads are mostly the old footage of the guy driving the silver xr along the beach, but with a different voice over.

I quite like the german engineer ad for the fiesta. I found it quite amusing the way he talked.

I really like the Fiesta ad....all a bit of fun.

However I do understand where you are coming from....how much better (talking Falcon ads now) would it be if there was a new, fresh ad with great shots of the car, and stating the facts as to why it is such a brilliant car.

I still think Holdens ads are far more camp and corny. some of Fords ads can be cringeworthy sometimes, but generally they are better IMHO
