It seems we can't delete threads that we have started, I thought we could. eg, I created the "att HSE2" thread, it's not needed now, so I tried deleting it but it won't let me.
I did not know of this chane until jem's post and I asked John, he obviously felt that it was a required change so it was made, there is probably more to this matter than there seems
I can understand where DK is coming from though.
On some other forums that I know of, a disguntled poster went through and delted his posts.
Obviously he didn't care, but those threads had information that other people still used.
Just another side of the coin:oo1:
ok the reason that I REMOVED it was because there were threads that have been deleted that went on for more than a few pages with valued info for members in here and the author decided that he did not like the way it went so he deleted the thread.
now is that benificial to others....just because the author felt it was not. So i take that privi away and now it is a dictatorship.
I am sorry if you feel that way but it is far from that. I am not about to go off on you or anyone about this because you or them dont like this option. It is set this way now because of the fact of several taking advantage of this option and ruining it for others.
This has nothing to do with post count and never has. If it comes to it then i will remove that from everyone so no one can complain that they have less posts than another.
I personally do not see why this is such an issue.
