Since the traffic has increased so much on this site, and above all the number of pasts per page has increased, the threads take FOREVER to load up or refresh when using 56k dialups.
Can we go back to less posts per thread page to help some of us out?
(or from memory there's a user selectable feature to do this is there?)

If you go into your profile and "change defaults" pete you can change the default number of posts per page. I have mine set to a max of 20 per page and this seems to speed things up considerably... :thumbup:

I tried that three times and it didn't work. That's why I posted this thread. I have now tried again and guess what? 20 per page. Way better.
Now, mr GTHO4, here I come...... (chomp, chomp, bite, grrrrr, snarllll, wooff! )

I think it's time for you to upgrade your Commodore 64 computer.
Mine's a Pentium III 600 mhz with 256MB of RAM - Asus P3V4X motherboard - 48X CD-ROM - Asus geforce 256 DDR GPU graphics accelerator and a 17 inch monitor.
No problems.

Ummm Pritsh, in there you listed 2 fifferent parts of 2 CPU manufacturers products....
You either have an P3 or a Duron
One is made by AMD (Duron) (Ford Equivalent cos they're better :D )
The other is made by Intel (P3) (Holden Equivalent as they are not so good)
But the 1Ghz speed of the CPU is good :thumbup:
