This is something I have been going to ask for a while.
I think I am right in saying the car before the grange was a ford explorer. How do you go from a suv to a blown grange. What is the history behind your choice?
Premature midlife crisis, its hard to say, but prior to the grange all I did was really work and my hobby was work. Now I work and my hobby is the grange.
Previous cars were based on lifestyle / family choice, the good thing is the stato / grange has plenty of room specially the boot.
I was always into cars when I was younger so thought it was time jump on the v8 band wagon.
Totally no science to it just a little testosterone
Strife didn't you say you were 29, that is one hell of a mid life problem you have on your hands.
I was interested in your choice of the Grange instead of the more main stream HSV models. Coming from the Explorer to the Grange is a huge shift in car dynamics thats for sure.
shift in car dynamics I decided on the car I wanted the wife didnt get a buy in, but wanted a car that looked ok, was reasonable easy to mod
Grange over other HSV models, that was easy, car replacement was April, I knew in Feb the VX was out at the end of the year and didnt want to get the VT.
Original Grange was Amazon Mica but was stolen a day before delivery and had to wait another 3 months, but they gave me a Calais and free fuel for the duration and some good discounting.
The car has just over 260rwkw at the moment and has an interim cam and injectors going in on tuesday whilst I wait for my ARE superstroker
