Just wondering, would it be possible for someone at Ford Marketing to provide us with an AVI or MPEG of the new Falcon and the Ute ads? Going by the reaction to the ads by the Raid participants, I reckon I'm not the only one who wants them on my PC!

They'd make a damn good screensaver, too.

I managed to download the vid - for some reason the link to the actual video stayed in my history... I then made a simple webpage in notepad ie:and then i opened this page, right-clicked the link, save as, and away we go!

Right click on the link, and slect 'save target as' and the video will be downloaded, ready to watch later... Worked for me!

You might need to get the latest version of Media Player. Mine took ages to download the video but it got there in the end. Also, if you have popup stoppers install try disabling them as I noticed a little Internet Explorer window appear before it went away and Media Player fired up.

As for saving the video, I just did a File->Save As once the video was downloaded into Media Player.

Mine keeps getting errors saying server could not be located. Tried right clicking but no save as option available. All I can say is these things should work with no fragging around. I can download videos elsewhere no probs.

It's probably the fault of the guys doing the website (is it Ford, or a 3rd party?)

Spaces are NOT allowed in URLs, it breaks the most fundemental standards of HTTP. IE seems to get around it, but it replaces the spaces with correct formatting before the server gets it. If the server gets spaces it will spew, like what you are getting Pete.

Ok, don't right click, it's not parsing this properly.
