Hay guys I was wondering what colour the TE50 on the FPV site is.

Is it venom red ?

Also didnt the TE been an AU3 have clear indicators on the fender.. ? From the picture they look preety orange to me.

Thanks BlueAU. Is there much of a difference between the Chilli red and Venom red in the AU's ? Also are those the only two red colours available in AU2/3 ? Just Iv gotta buy one and venom looks very fine! This is a bit off but what would you expect to pay for the following

AU2 - Forte ? AU 3 - Forte ?
AU 2 - S ? AU 3 - SR ?

I have to go car hunting want to make sure I get a good deal but at the same time I don't want to be ripped off. Redbook isn't much help and i guess the km's would be between 60,000-120,000. Also it will be a cash purchase and at a car yard can you usually screw them down much with cash?

Usually if you pay cash with a car yard you can get them to lower the price for a bit. Another option is to go thru a Ford dealer and say "Look, if i pay cash...will you throw in some alloys, spoiler etc?". Save you some money in the long run. Im not too sure about the prices for the vehicles your after. I would consider selling my AU1 forte for $14ish though It has had a bit of work done to it and had a full respray in the original Galaxy blue on the weekend, only 85,000kms! LOL

The only car iv found is an AU2 SR in the paper think 93,000km for $15,000. Ill try some car yards on the southside but I think an auction might be the way to go. I wasn't a big fan of the au1 with the bonnet line running down the middle.

Iv tried a ford car yard they have no idea what they are doing and they seriously arnt interested in selling me a car. Went there say 'oh how much is this car', 'Im a busy come back later".. 30 mins passes the guy doesn't come back and is out back just fuking around. Try to tell him we are serious about a car but in no way is interested.
