i prob wouldnt have gotten the AU if i wasnt going to do anything to it (especially series 1), but i also chose the AU because i had an EF previously and i wasnt getting enough of a change (looks wise) getting an EL so i went for the newer one.
summing up - if your leaving it basically stock go for the EL XR6 for sure!! id try and get one with just under 100,000kms on it or less though - id be guessing between $15-20,000?? for a decent EL XR6
apparently NRMA or FordInsure are good insurance companies for people who wanna do a bit to their cars and are lacking a bit in the age department! im gonna have to find out soon myself so thats who im gonna be checking out.
