AU II XR8 vs Blown VT
Good mate has a grudge match coming up, AUII XR8 ute stock apart from twin system vs. a supercharged V6 VT sedan, totally stock. Best of 3 quarter mile passes. Who's gonna win???? Try and pick it and I'll let you know after the weekend.

Anyone got a nitrous set up for the XR you'd like to rent out....,ha ha.

It will be close, my bet is the XR8 by about .3 of a second (based on factory times).

Not that I am biased or anything :), but your mates ute will be OK. Should be a few tenths quicker than the VT, maybe half a second if the VT is a heavy series I...

Is the ute an auto as well?

An XR8 and the lighter body of the ute it should do it without too much stress. So long as he can get traction.

Sorry, the ute is a manual. Factory rims and rubber. You're right casper the fat and soft assed VT will probably have better traction.
