big pete...love the avatar. is this yours?
anyways...agree with you. dont know if the media influenced thinking or reflected it. i agree that as the cars get older, the shape grows more and more on me. i even went out and bought one. i especially like the xr series. the first time i saw it, i walked away and shook my head, but did get to drive a forte hire car (quite hard too...you know what they say about hire cars:bs2: ) and was very impressed./
i think ford missed the mark badly with the grille of the first forte. was all too angular for my taste. the softening of the whole design at au2 stage was a big step forward. was at the release of this car to perth and fell in love woth the red xr8 on display. it is a car that has got better looking with each variation. agree with homer...i think it was ahead of its time.
You wash your car like it was your firstborn child, you tend to its needs like it was your own body, you protect it like it's your family, then you drive it like you stole it.
