AU XR Sports bar

Well im finally getting what i wanted, an LED brake light fitted into the sports bar on the back of the XR6. It will look like a spoiler of a car when its finished, and i cant wait to get it back.

Yeah im waiting to pick it up, just called them and apparently it will be ready in the morning.

I think this should make the car look a little better, as personally i dont think 2 brake lights is enough, looks bare!

Anyways its pretty expensive $380 bucks, i hope its worth it.

Getting it fitted back on tomorrow, my poor ute looks terrible atm. It has no sports bar and the dodgy 15 in steel spare wheel on.

do you mind if I show that to some people and see if we can get it made a factory fitted thing. Are you handy with the tools as it looks easy to do to me, maybe alittle time consuming. Looks good.

A Factory fitted thing would be great, and i feel as though the car is safer as that is an LED Hella part which is alot brighter then the actual brake lights.

Ill get you some better pics tomorrow night with it working.

that would be good. If you want to make the back of your ute look different then have a look at current F250 tail lights. With alittle cutting behind the light you can make them fit and then you can wire up the reverse lights in each corner instead of the little single reverse light. We looked into it and fitted some to a ute and it looked good. Not sure why they didn't do it on the BA ute though.
