XF 5.0 S

Wife wants to upgrade from the KC laser - and being married to a Ford head has decided to go an XR. She wants one up to a maximum of three years old. She does not care whether its a 6 or 8.

What are values as far as these cars go?

Not biased or anything but my AUII XR6 VCT is going dirt cheep.
It is only 2 years old but done 94,000km. Other cars around the same age with less K's are around the high 20's to low 30's

With so many options introduced on the AU the prices vary considerably as well as the condition of the car.

Talking dealer prices I've seen an AUII XR6 HP retailing for $27k with over 80k on the clock and bone stock with 16inch slasher wheels, no bodykit etc.
However i have seen an AUII XR6 fully optioned with bodykit, 17's and all momo gear, premium stereo still selling for around the $32-33k mark. VCT's are listed as more due to the more powerful engine and IRS.

ha ha. my fiance did a similar thing.

We not long got her into a Suzuki Cino (her previous car was an XE Falcon), not long after this i brought the EL XR8 i drive now, after she got driving my XR8 for a while she wanted one.

We hunted around and found a white 99 model XR6 VCT with full body kit, double colour coded spoiler and those sweet finish 17 inch wheels at Kloster Ford Newcastle for 25k, a bargain i reakon for such as sweet looking car.

Just call us the XR Family.
