Re: aufalcon.com updates and suggestions

In it’s "adaptive shift" (ADP) mode the gearbox monitors the driving style and throttle input to determine the best shift pattern to suit those conditions (performance or economy mode). You can also "Force" the auto into one of thes modes by going through the routine that was posted. The Electronic Sport Shift (ESS) mode gives you buttons mounted on the wheel to up-shift and down-shift the tranny, and the toque converter is locked up so that it acts similar to a clutchless manual, rather than an automatic. Something I wish our XR's had sometimes!

Re: aufalcon.com updates and suggestions

Ahh thanks for that, I'm just debating whether or not to chuck in a AUIII XR6 ECU for the ADP. When I visit JMM I'll see what he says about it.

I would love that but the setup and admin of it is just too much for me. I set up the guestbook in case people wanted to make coments and, if its more specific, we have the aufalcon.com forums to use.

Re: aufalcon.com updates and suggestions

Casper, when maybe you re-design the site, I would be willing to help and custom code (php & mysql) this sort of system.

I can definately make that sorta system, with the comments. It would take some time though. I can also write up an admin system, where admin's can login, and edit/delete comments that are in-appropriate.

You could even code it so the member's rides are automatically displayed, instead of hard coding each one. Up to you though, the offers there.

Re: aufalcon.com updates and suggestions

Thanks LG, may take you up on that offer.
Currently looking at another system to use that is similar as well. So either way, the site will be different.
As for hard coding, I dont mind as it lets me keep it all consistant and I can screen what is getting posted up.

also, say what ever the **** you want about this post, but if you really wanna be mr fair post, then why dont you put a stop to the BS off topic shit that has filled the last 2 pages
